Android Tablet PC in Business

It has been said that 2011 is the year of the Tablet PC, and many analysts are predicting that by 2015, 30% of the population will own a Tablet PC. There has been a lot of discussion about the fun usages of a Tablet PC, but what about using a Tablet PC for business? Is it practical? Do applications exist to make it even feasible?
Tablets are predominantly being used for email, internet and multimedia currently, but we are also seeing the business sector look towards tablets for their solutions as well. Deloitte research firm did another report where they predict that 25% of all tablet sales will be by businesses for business activity.
Some IT executives may consider tablets a drain on productivity. Understanding productivity in the enterprise is extremely important for Android devices.IT managers want to be able to control every aspect of a tablet before they put it in the hands of their employees.

Here's a list of biz apps needed in a Tablet.
 Word/excel/powerpoint
 Email
 Calendar
 Remote PC access
 Document scanning
 Contacts
 Video conferencing
 Social apps
 Travel apps
 Invoicing for tracking billable hours
